The Complete Hot Tub System

Roberts Hot Tubs complete hot tub systems are so complete, all you'll need to provide is the water. We include the complete hot tub, including the bench and every necessary nut, bolt and screw, as well as the required supports that the tub sits on. All of the support equipment, including an ionizer and top of the line insulating cover, is also included, along with every plumbing fitting needed to complete the installation (additional pipe may be needed if equipment is located away from the hot tub). We even provide you with a complete chemical kit, and special rubber mallet to making assembling the tub easier.

The smaller complete systems (smaller ovals), which come in kit form, includes the following components:

  • Hot tub with 2 benches (ofuros generally don't have a bench).
  • Pentair 100K BTU gas heater (natural gas or propane, please specify if above 3500' altitude) [image] with electronic pilotless ignition (electric heaters are also available [image]).
  • Pentair SUPERFLO High Performance 1 H.P. 2 speed, 240 volt pump [image].
  • Hayward C-500, 50 sq. ft. cartridge filter. [image]
  • Intermatic #RC2123PT, time clock with air switch (the time clock automatically operates the pumps low speed for daily heating and filtration, while the air switch, controlled by a push button in the location of your choice controls the high speed of the pump for the therapeutic jet action ) [image].
  • An auxiliary control for manually operating the low speed of the pump for a more gentle massage.
  • 6" thick, tapered, folding two piece insulating cover , constructed of 1# density, metal reinforced foam, covered with a marine grade UV resistant vinyl (This is the thickest, most insulating cover in the industry, with a minimum R-value of R-21).
  • 2 jets with individual air controls, 2 suction drains and enough PVC pipe, fittings and valves to complete the system.
  • Complete chemical kit with complete instructions.

Upgrades

The most common upgrade requested is a larger heater, followed by lighting and for those living in freezing climates we recommend the addition of a freeze control which will monitor the temperature of the water in the piping and turn on the pump when the temperature drops below a preset level. There's also the availability of additional pumps and jets, air blower, and for the connoisseur solid bronze jets

The system can also be downgraded for a more economical price, e.g. smaller heater, fewer jets or omission of the ionizer.
