Spa
Defender is a sequestering agent specially designed for hot water temperatures. It's a
second generation blend of organic polymers designed to prevent calcium's ability to form
scale. It also aids in the removal of existing scale, and helps prevent precipitation of
dissolved solids in spas. This protects against fouling of filters and equipment failure
due to scale build-up.

Spa Defender
The Spa Defender is a second-generation blend of organic polymers designed to prevent scale formation, aid in the removal of existing scale, and to help prevent precipitation of dissolved solids in spas or hot tubs. Once spa or hot tub water becomes saturated with minerals (dissolved solids), salts begin to deposit. These deposited salts then serve as reaction sites on which new calcium crystals begin to grow. The Spa Defender interferes with the rate and the normal pattern of crystal growth. Once crystal growth is altered, the calcium build-up is inhibited.
Directions
-USE AT LEAST ONCE A WEEK-
For spas up to 800 gallons, use 2 oz. For spas over 800 gallons, use 4 oz.
As the Spa Defender begins to work, it may cloud your spa water. Until an equilibrium between minerals and polymers is reached, the cloudiness will remain.
PLEASE NOTE: Since the Spa Defender is a blend of organic polymers, it is non-toxic, non-irritating Keep this and all other chemicals out of reach of children for their safety.

Tips:
Control of calcium can be very challeging, especially is spas. The high temperature and
rapidly moving water results in excessive evaporation that leads to mineral build-up. This
accumulation can cause fouling of filters and eventually heater or equipment failure.
Regular use of SPA DEFENDER will prevent such build up from
occurring.
