OZ will also help reduce odors caused by ammonia and chloramines found in bromine or chlorine sanitized water. The result is fresh, clear water. OZ is a chlorine-free shock treatment, not a disinfectant. Chlorine, bromine, ozone or other sanitizers are still necessary to properly disinfect spa water.
