Calcium Booster

Calcium Booster is used to increase hardness in spas and hot tubs in areas with low levels of hardness. Low hardness will etch plaster and corrode equipment. Before adding Calcium Booster, test the water with a hardness test kit, or ask your local spa or pool dealer. The ideal hardness level is 150-400 ppm (parts per million).

Directions:1 oz of Calcium Booster per 500 gallons increases hardness by 7 ppm.

1. Determine amount of Calcium Booster to be added using a hardness test kit.
2. Pour proper amount into spa or hot tub with equipment turned on.
3. Run filter for 1-2 hours.
4. Water may be re-tested in 20 minutes.

Caution: Irritant
Avoid contact with eyes or prolonged contact with skin.

Practical treatment (First Aid)

External- Flush with water for 15 minutes.
Internal- Drink large quantities of water. Call physician immediately.
Eyes- Wash with water for 15 minutes. Get medical attention promptly.

Keep this and all other chemicals out of reach of children for their safety.
