This product contains 0.5lbs. of active ingredient per gallon and weighs 8.4lbs. per
gallon.
Keep out of reach of children.
DIRECTIONS:
It is a violation of federal law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its
labeling.
INITIAL TREATMENT:
For visible algae growth or slimy interior surface, add 6-8 fl. Ozs. Of SPA ALGAECIDE per
500 gals. Capacity. For maximum effectiveness, spas containing heavy growth of algae
should be drained and cleaned prior to treatment.
MAINTENANCE:
After initial treatment, to keep your spa free of algae growth, add 1-2 fl. Oz. Per 500
gals. Capacity every 5 to 7 days.
SPA ALGACIDE is compatible with other spa chemical. It can be used in conjunction with chlorine or bromine chemicals and may reduce the amount of those chemicals required.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Always apply chemicals separately. Never combine them.
PRECAUTIONARY STATEMENTS
HAZARDS TO HUMANS AND DOMESTIC ANIMALS
CAUTION
Harmful if swallowed. Avoid breathing vapors. Avoid contact with skin, eyes or clothing.
In case of contact, immediately flush eyes or skin with plenty of water. Get medical
attention if irritation persists.
STATEMENT OF PRACTICAL TREATMENT
FIRST AID:
If swallowed, promptly drink large quantities of water. Avoid alcohol. Do not induce
vomiting. Call a physician immediately.
ENVIROMENTAL HAZARDS:
This pesticide is toxic to fish. Keep out of lakes, streams, or ponds. Permits may be
required for discharges containing this pesticide into lakes, streams, ponds, or public
water. For guidance, contact the regional office of the Environmental Protection Agency.
STORAGE DISPOSAL:
Keep container closed when not in use. Leaking or damaged containers should be place in a
plastic bag and discarded in trash. Mop up spills with clear water. All pesticides should
be kept out of reach of children and stored away from food.
DISPOSAL:
Do not reuse empty container. When empty rinse container thoroughly, wrap container and
place in trash.
