ALL-CLEAR Alkalinity raises total alkalinity in pool and spa water. Maintaining the pH in the water between 7.2 and 7.8 increases the effectiveness of chlorine, and pH is effectively maintained by keeping total alkalinity between 80 ppm (parts per million) and 125 ppm for plaster finishes and 120-150 for vinyl, fiberglass and other non-masonry finishes. Low total alkalinity may cause pool or spa water to stain, etch or distortall all types of surfaces and may be corrosive to metal and plaster.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Mixing 1-1/2 lb. Of ALL-CLEAR Alkalinity per 10,000 gallons of water will raise total alkalinity 10 parts per million. One level tablespoon of ALL-CLEAR Alkalinity will increase total alkalinity by 30 ppm in a 100 gallon spa, or 10ppm in a 300 gallon spa. Pre-mix ALL-CLEAR Alkalinity in a bucket of water and add this mixture to pool water with pump and filter running. The chart below shows the amount of ALL-CLEAR Alkalinity needed to raise total alkalinity effectively:

Keep product dry in closed original container when not in use. Store in a cool, dry, well
ventilated area away from heat, open flames and organic chemical. DO NOT REUSE EMPTY
CONTAINER. Rinse empty container thoroughly with water and discard in trash.
