Directions for use:
All clear dry acid, when used as directed, helps maintain proper water balance by lowering pH and high total alkalinity in spas, hot tubs and swimming pools. Use in conjunction with pH test kit. Test water before adding Dry Acid. Note: DO NOT ADD NEAR METAL FITTINGS OR ALLOW pH TO DROP BELOW 7.2. Damage to circulating system and to pool and spa finish may result. If pH drops below 7.2, immediately add soda ash to raise the pH to recommended levels. In areas where water has high total alkalinity, pH level can bounce back shortly after adjustment. Frequent pH adjustment using Dry Acid will eventually lower alkalinity to desired levels. Where water has high pH and low total alkalinity, adjust alkalinity first, then adjust pH.

Directions for spa use:
Test pH level daily during first week, 2-3 times a week thereafter. Check total alkalinity weekly. Maintain pH in 7.2-7.6 range and total alkalinity between 100-150 ppm. If pH is above 7.6 add ¼ to ½ oz of dry acid per 1,000 gallons of water and wait 1-2 hours before checking pH. Repeat until recommended pH is obtained. IMPORTANT: DO NOT RUN FILTERING PUMP IF pH IS BELOW 7.2. Extreme care must be exercised when adding acid. Improper use may cause damage to spa, tub, or pool finish equipment. Never add near metal fittings or near water skimmer. To add Dry Acid to spa, pre-dissolve in a 2.5 gal plastic pail of water and add to spa with pump off. Stir water vigorously to mix acid thoroughly. Use aeration pump to mix if available. Only after acid is thoroughly mixed should pump be turned on again. Do not mix with other household chemicals.

RECOMMENDED DOSAGE:
