Bahia/2004
In Response To: Sweetwater Spas by Sundance ()

Background: We purchased our Sweetwater Bahia at a home show in January 2004. Our home was being built so we did not take delivery until June of that year. The spa came with a cover and lifter and steps. We did no research on spas before the purchase (a mistake and unusaual for me).
Comments: After we got our water chemistry right (took several months of learning) we enjoy our spa a lot. There have been some minor problems: 1. a check valve that failed, allowing water into the ozone generator (it died); 2. The ozone generator was not mounted by the dealer -- just laid on the floor of the cabinet (which allowed the water in from #1); 3. the temperature sensor failed and had to be replaced; 4. some of the jets have stuck closed and had to be replaced. Other than these irritations, it is a pretty nice spa. Lots of power and features, and well insulated. May consider another when the time comes. Dealer has been ok, but not impressive.
