Re: Thermo Spas Inc.

I use to sell Thermo Spas as a retailer back in the early 90's. I worked for a dealer that sold mainly softub spas, but we wanted to expand into acrylic spas so I did a great deal of research, and was sold on Thermo Spas hands-down. Now some 21 plus years later I have tremendous back problems, and I am disabled. I called Thermo Spas, and they sent out a sales rep, and he sold me on a tub with 41 jets at a good price because I was one of the first retailers for them in Michigan. I was told I would get expedited delivery because of my health problems, but now I am concerned that I will never see the hot tub. I was given a phone call that I would receive delivery around July 25, 2011 with a 3 day window. I waited 3 days, and first I called the company. I was told the number of the delivery guy, and that if I really needed it they could deliver it on Friday because they wanted to clear the books for the end of the month. So I called the delivery person, and was told expect delivery the following Tuesday or Wednesday, and it is now Thursday with no phone call or anything. I worked in sales from 1977 to 1995 and at times I had 5 sales reps under me at certain times. My GOLDEN RULES where keep it honest, no excuses, and the customer is always right (According to Dale Carnegie manipulation in my interpretation is getting people to do what you want them to do and enjoy doing it without knowing it was your idea. That is the closest to lying that you should ever come as a sales person, but it is still wrong). That does not seem to be the case here. When I first called the sales rep after the first 3 days he told me that I must have misunderstood the lady that called me about delivery. Back to rules 1 and 3. I was lied to and made to believe that myself the customer was wrong. HMMMMM??? I am still a firm believer in Thermo Spas product, but if you live in Michigan keep in mind that the delivery people are in Novi, Michigan (east side of the state 184.24 miles from my location) so if you live on the west side of the state realize that it may take a great deal longer for delivery, and that brings to mind service??? What can be expected for a turn-around time for that??? When I first started selling Thermo Spas I dealt with a wholesaler out of Holland Michigan (just 30 miles south of me now, and I did repairs on both soft tubs, and acrylic spas) but I am concerned about future service???
