I purchased an Epic model in August 2006. It seemed to be pretty reliable until December 2010 when it sprung a major leak. A glue joint that holds the canisters for the filters came apart and leaks about 100 gallons in two days time. Marquis has a five year warranty against leaks, but when I called them, their warranty person was extremely difficult to work with. They will not cover the temporary repair their dealer attempted to help get the spa through the rest of the Winter. They will not cover the costs to winterize the spa after the temporary repair failed. They will not commit to pay for anything until they see the bills next Spring when the repairs can be made. They are not concerned about the water damage to the insulation, the wood frame, wear and tear on the heater and pumps during this crisis, and told me that I am on my one. The guy even said, "If you had a plumbing leak in your house, you would fix it and move on, so get over it!" I would not buy anything from this company ever again.
