:
Thermospas sold me the poorest quality spa I have ever seen and trying to work with their customer service is a nightmare, at best.
The sales person had "answers" for every question/concern I presented. After reading their sales contract, I instinctively knew it was not in my
best interest to make a purchase from this company, but I was in a great deal of physical pain and really needed the relief I knew a hot tub could provide.
I was willing to pay a high price for the best quality product and service I could find. What I didn't realize, is that I was buying a pack of lies and absolutely no customer service.
I will never purchase a product of this expense without first seeing and water testing it. What they delivered is in no way what I believed I was purchasing.
It's now 8 months since it was delivered and I still cannot use the hot tub. Customer service ignores my calls and has never responded in writing to my complaint.
They have admitted to selling faulty and damaged parts but cannot provide anything more than empty promises for repair.
By signing their contract, I forfeited all my rights to take them to court and recover my loss.
When I finally spoke to their customer service manager, she threatened me, several times, with having to hire an attorney to settle my dispute.
Every other company I have ever dealt with has stood by their products and reputation. If something doesn't work they will take it back and refund the purchase price.
Not Thermospas. You are stuck with it, whether it works or not.
My mission is to tell my story to as many consumer protection agencies and forums as I can find so that no one else has to suffer the financial loss and
emotional angst that I have over this last year.
I must recommend that you only purchase a spa from a local store where you can see exactly what you are buying.
The local stores will work very hard to protect their reputation in their local communities, unlike a company who only sells via over priced television advertising across the country.
Good Luck.
