We purchased a Summit Legend SE with the 10 year warranty. The company does not work with problems you have. When we purchased our spa in 2003, we were assured that we would be able to move our spa to Oklahoma when we left Alaska. We paid our local store in Anchorage to crate the spa and stored it with a reputable storage company (the procedure recommended by our retailer). From the time it was delivered to our home in Oklahoma, we have had nothing but problems. The lifetime shell cracked more than once - the water caused the electrical system to short out the motors. The answer from the manufacturer (when they would respond to our questions) varied. However, the last solution they gave us was for us to pay to have our tub shipped to Spokane, Washington, where they would see what the problem was, and then again we would have to pay to have it shipped back. I am sure they realize that would cost us more than the price of a new spa. They have been the worst business I have ever worked with. I hope you never have a problem, but if you do, don't expect any help from the manufacturer. I would never recommend this brand of spa to anyone who is thinking of purchasing a spa.
