Numerous electronic component failures.

Control panel failed after 4 months, factory replaced under warranty. The tech said they "see alot of these" and had 3 replacements in his truck (yikes!).

Three separate failures in the stereo dept.

First, the wired remote panel in the tub stopped working 2 months after warranty expired. Stereo still worked, but you have to hang over the side of the tub to operate it. Dealer respone: "Gee that's unfortunate.", still not working but apparently replacements are available via marine supply channels (Aquatic AV is the OEM). No offer to assist or make it right.

Then the 220VAC/12VDC power supply for the stereo subsystem fritzed and crashed the primary power circuit GFCI. Again, dealer response "Man that's bad.". I pulled the failed power supply out, cracked the case and sure enough the PCB was rotted inside due to intrusion of water and subsequent damage. On top of that, the supply sticker clearly indicates it is intended for indoor use only! See pics for proof.

After replacing the power supply with one intended for damp/wet application (at half the replacement cost of the mis-engineered/mis-applied one) the sound quaility of the system was terrible. I popped off the speaker covers to find that all four speakers were disintegrating and rusting. These speakers are not waterproof and clearly not designed to be placed in a damp/wet environment. Again, head scratching and clucking of tongues at the dealer, but no intent to correct this obvious design flaw, or to make it right. I am planning the replacement of the POS OEM indoor speakers with waterproof ones from PolyPlanar, tub mods will be required to fit the new speakers.
