We were on the verge of purchasing a new spa when we stumbled on a 1 year old Caspian for less than half of new. Admittedly we were already decided on either Hot Springs or Tiger River (same difference) due to our own personal preferences as well as availability of a good local servicing dealer.

We bought the tub for $4200.00 and then had to spend $600 to have it hauled professionally (55 miles) but at a total of $4800.00 it was still tough to beat. I installed the electrical myself but would recommend hiring a professional unless you are VERY comfortable with 220Volt wiring.

My wife and I were able to move the tub into place ourselves using 2' sections of 4" schedule 40 PVC rolling it on the lawn and then stepping down to 1.25" PVC once we got it onto the patio.

The spa has been in service for three weeks and we love it! It is exactly what we were looking for and our local dealer tests water for free and gives printed out instructions for balancing the water...a very nice service. The jets are awesome and the tub has a nice variety of seating. I guess the only criticism I might have is that the LED lighting of the water feature is somewhat lackluster but this does not really detract from the enjoyment we get from the tub.

I would definitely recommend this tub and will follow up with more information if anything develops...good or bad.
