A spa is a big investment in most peoples budget. My family is no exception so when looking at which spa to buy, I reviewed every brand on this website. One thing became very apparent. When you mix water and electricity, you will have problems. It does not matter which brand or how much you spend. What I looked at now was, which brand had less problems & how did the company take care of it. The other VERY important aspect and maybe more important than the manufacturer was the dealer. The dealer is your lifeline when(not if) you have a problem. At that point I got down to 2 brands. Sundance & Hot Springs.
In starting to shop, it quickly became evident that my budget would not support a new tub in either brand. I called the dealers of both brands that I was interested in. James "The Hot Tub Guy" at Premier Hot Tubs in Alpharetta, Ga spent a lot of time on the phone with me and answered any questions that I had. I wet tested the Hot springs at a local Atlanta area dealer and wasnt all that impressed with power that the tub had. The salesman told me that they have some used tubs and he would call me on Monday to tell me what they had etc. I never did hear from that dealer again except about a month later I got a card thanking me for stopping in.
As I was on my way to Premier Hot Tubs, James actually called me and asked if I would like to come up and test his tubs. I was VERY impressed by his follow up. Sundance tubs that I wet tested that day had enough power to push me right out of the seat. This is the type of power you need to really get into those sore muscles. Something that I found lacking in the Hot Springs. I told James about my budget problem and he told me that an old customer of his was trading in a used Marin model on a new larger Sundance model. It was a 2001 model. I was very skeptical about buying what I thought was a very old tub. James said he knew the tub & it is like new. In addition, he was putting on a new cover, cover lifter, steps, Ozonator, starter Chemical kit, delivery and a 1 year warranty. I wet tested the used tub and was very impressed. James even extended the warranty out further because of his confidence in Sundance and in this tub as he new the owner for many years.
Whether you buy a new tub or used tub, James personally comes to your house 3 times. The first time to see the location that you want to put the tub for level and positioning. The second time to deliver and set up. The third to demonstrate the tub and instruction on its care and use.
Well, the second week did not pass before I had a problem with a leak from one of the pumps. The moment of truth about Premier standing behind their warranty came when James took care of the problem in a most prefessional manner. His tech had to come to my house twice to fix the problem because the parts were a bit obscure and the tech did not have them on the truck. James at his expense, had Sundance overnight the parts to his place to get my tub back up as quick as possible. Premier Hot Tub in Alpharetta, Ga treats me as if I bought the most expensive tub that Sundance makes. And is always available to answer any questions that I have.
I could not be happier with my choice of Brands & even more importantly with my choice of Premier Hot Tubs as my dealer.
