We purchased our spa 3 years ago and were told that we had a 5 year full warranty when we purchased it and have now been having problems with it and are left in the dark as to how to get these problems repaired. Upon our first call to Catalina (Vortex) we were told we needed a copy of the invoice when we purchased the spa and they would then be able to send the part out that was broken provided we knew what was wrong (because we are all Spa Doctors!!)
Now we found the invoice and call them back and are told that our spa doesn't have a warranty, that the warranty is only good for 1 year. After arguing with the representative - he asks when we purchased the spa and I tell him that month and year and he indicates that there would be a partial payment on the part - but we would need to cover the labor ourselves.
We have learned a very valuable lesson - don't purchase anything from Vortex Spas!!!!!!!!! They do not stand behind their product warranties!!
