My wife and I decided to purchase a spa to see if it would help with headaches i've had for the last few years. The drawing feature to the Cal spa being the great waranty (lifetime heater) and neck jets. The biggest reason we ended up buying a Cal was the staff at our local dealer, which in reading other's input seems to be key. They were extreemly helpfull in finding the right spa for us, and very knowledgeable not only about cal spas but others we were looking at as well. We're really happy with our choice (51 jet atlantic). My headaches are far less frequent and we use our spa every night.
One of the features I'm glad the sales guy talked us into was the bromine generator. I used to take care of my parents spa and it was a huge hassle. This is a breeze. No floater, no smell, no scum, way less chemical $$$.-Yes I'm a beliver.
We do wish we went with the stereo option as we sit with no jets quite often.
Otherwise a great purchase. Our dealer is in Albuquerque, NM if anyone was wondering.
We'havent had any service issues yet (9 months) but feel we'll be taken care of if the order/delivery process was any indication.
