Sorrento 2004
In Response To: Phoenix Spas ()

I have owned a Phoenix Spa since April 2004. The spa itself is very, very nice. The spinning jets freeze up from calcium build up and need to be cleaned, but that's really not a big deal. The jets feel awesome.

What we are not pleased with is the service and customer care. When a minor problem came up, it took 6 months to get fixed, and that's only because I paid for it rather than deal with their "warranty".

When you buy this spa they tell you how great the warranty is. Don't believe it. They give the dealers very little incentive to fix problems, so the dealers put it on the back, back burner. Once you tell the dealer you'll pay for it and get reimbursed from Phoenix Spas, then, and only then, will you get someone to come out.

I was PROMISED by the head of service for Phoenix Spas, Michelle, that my credit card would not be charged for parts. I was. I was PROMISED to be paid back for the service call I was paying for out of my pocket, I wasn't.

They do have a good product, when it works, but they will lie and tell you anything to sell you the spa, and then not back it up when there is a problem.

Hopefully the spa remains working, because if not I'm on my own.
