-Why did you decide to get a spa?
Because we liked the idea.
-Does your spa live up to all expectations?
Yes
-How long have you owned your spa?
About 8 months, this is our first spa.
-What accessories/options, beyond the "basic spa" does, your spa have?
Air therapy
Peyote lights
36" Steps
-What do you like best?
Actually, the heat - the whole experience of just sitting in it and chilling out. But pleased that the tub came with CD Ozone as standard, that access to the underside is excellent and that the underside of the tub has not been sprayed in foam. The spa seems well engineered and thought out. Time will tell whether that view is correct.
-Is there anything about your spa you don't like?
I think the Air Therapy system is a bit of a gimmick. It looks great if you are outside the tub (makes the water bubble vigiourously) and is probably great as a sales/demonstration gimmick. However, when you are in the tub it is rather noisy, uncomfortable and (because it sucks in air at a lower temperature that the water) cooling. I guess this might be nice if the weather is hot - but I'm in the UK :-)
-What might you change if you had to "do it all over"?
Possibly skip the air therpapy
-Is there anything you're sorry you left out?
No not really. I dream about having a noisy sound and video system, but the sound system is not available on this particular model, and in any case my neighbours would not wear the idea.
-Are there any features you now feel aren't necessary?
No, I think everything serves a purpose.
-Have you encountered any problems, and if so, how were they resolved?
When the tub arrived the lighting system (which is a glorified bank of tri colour leds) would only show combinations of red and green (i.e. no blue).
The suppliers came out within a couple of days and changed it. This was quite impressive to see how easy it was to do. They removed a side panel and swapped the lighting unit from the underside of the shell. I wondered if they needed to drain it, but the whole operation took about 3 minutes.
So far so good. But I think it is time which really tells a spa' worth.
