Cub Designer/2005
In Response To: Arctic Spas ()

Just took delivery (less than a week ago) of a 7' Cub Designer model. Very pleased with how things have gone so far. The sales agent (Grand Lake Industries, Jemseg, New Brunswick, Canada) has been extremely good to deal with. Included in the price we paid was the Forever Floor, 5 1/2" cover, Exotic Jet Package, Therapy Air package, Microban Finish, Tru-Guard Heater, Cover Lifter, 50 amp GFCI outdoor pony panel, start up supplies and 2-step cedar stair (3'). On delivery was advised that the tub had come from the factory with Northern Lights option at no extra charge, although this had not been ordered.
We live in a part of the country where spas are not that common and so brand offerings are limited. We looked at two others available in our region - Beachcomber and Elite by Maax. We were swayed by the design of the Arctic (esp. Forever Floor and insulation method), with the service of the dealer and with comments from others we know who own this brand. Price comparison - slightly more expensive than Elite, slightly less expensive than Beachcomber (comparable models).
Only comment this far is that combination of jets and therapy air makes for a lot of noise and commotion! I much prefer the tranquility of no jets or jets on low speed. So far no buyer's remorse but will post more comments after we've been in operation for a longer period of time.
