After much debating/time we decided to purchase a spa, as we were enclosing our 10'X 20' screen porch. Narrowed down choices between the Caldera Martinque and the Prodigy. Wet-tested both and decided on the Prodigy, Manufacturer reputation had a lot to do with it, as well as warranty. Also, both are owned by Masco Corp. (Delta faucets, among other products), who has owned HotSprings since 1978. Also, the store would move the tub anywhere on the property once, after it was initially installed, up to one year after the purchase. So I had the spa installed on my deck, then moved into the new room when it was completed.
I have had absolutely no problems with the spa; it performs beautifully with no trouble. I initially had some problems using the sanitizing system (BaquaSpa) which was recommended by the store. Those problems have now been eliminated, and I have also added a HotSpring Ozonator system ti the tub. I installed the unit myself. The mounting and power connection were already pre-installed, making the install quite easy. The only part that was somewhat difficult was the routing of the tubing.
I would highly recommend any HotSprings spa.
I would also recommend buying products from Robert's Hot Tubs. I have purchased some accessories from them and the price was fair and delivery was prompt.
