We purchased a Vancouver 777SE some 4 years ago and have had nothing but trouble with it. First off 2 of the corners of the tub split which looked very unsightly which you agreed to replace(4 years on we still have a corner that doesn’t fit properly). Then the main circuit board was replaced by an engineer who actually declined when I suggested disconnecting the hot tub from the mains but as I stood and watched him electrocute himself for the THIRD time I insisted and switched it off at the mains. The ozonator has been replaced several times and one of the main pumps has been replaced with a different pump to the one originally fitted which I believe is not suitable as now when you switch the tub on you can only have it on the lowest setting as it seems to be far to powerful. We no longer get a nice massage effect Its more like being slapped/battered around.
The last time we contacted Canadian spa it was to inform them that the bottom of the tub had BUBBLED and you agreed to collect the tub so it could be taken away to be repaired at your premises. 2 weeks later the Tub was returned to us unrepaired and we were told that infact the bottom of the tub was supposed to be bubbled as this was a NON SLIP feature (Funny how the guy that told us this had said to us 2 weeks earlier that he infact had the same tub at home and his wasn’t bubbled so there was a definite problem). Also when the tub was returned to us one of your men pointed out to us that one of the jets was missing and that the part must have been left at your premises and that he would make sure it was sent to us asap(14 months later we are still waiting!) Then on browsing around the Canadian Spa website I came across a PDF file of one of your leaflets entitled “A shell is just a shell---or is it” Which goes on to talk about and I quote:
“The shell is one of the largest parts of your spa. If it fails, the spa itself has failed. The shell cannot be replaced without replacing the whole spa. Once a shell blisters the surface separates from the fibreglass backing and the resulting repair is expensive and ugly. You end up with a patch inside the spa. It looks like heck and will, in all probability, FAIL AGAIN!“
3 months ago we sent you a letter stating all these facts.....Guess what....You didnt even have the professional courtesy or manners to reply to us.
I didn’t want to publicly slate your company but you have left us no choice.
Will you reply to this I wonder????
