In Response To: Gulf Coast Spas ()

I'll try to follow the posting guidelines to best offer an unbiased opinion:

Why did you decide to get a spa?
I wanted some hydrotherapy for my lower back and feet.

Does your spa live up to all expectations?
I can honestly say it was a good investment and I do feel that I got a good deal on it.

How long have you owned your spa?
I bought it in March 2004 after seeing an infomercial for Gulf Coast Spas.

What accessories/options, beyond the "basic spa" does, your spa have?
I actually bought a gazebo for more privacy (wink, wink) and to help keep bad weather out. I also got a set of wooden steps and a jet wand.

What do you like best?
The minimal amount of upkeep I need to do. I signed up for their autoship program. Also the jet in the footwell is great on my feet (I stand a lot for work, so this is nice to have when I come home).

Is there anything about your spa you don't like?
I found it difficult to use the spa cover with my gazebo, so I just decided to keep the cover off.

What might you change if you had to "do it all over"?
Maybe get a different color. I just got blue because I thought water = blue, but after I bought I noticed other colors I liked.

Is there anything you're sorry you left out?
Not that I can think of. And if I did, I would just get it as an accessory if I really wanted it.

Are there any features you now feel aren't necessary?
At first, I thought the waterfall wasn't necessary, then I realized the ambiance it provides during parties. I can just run the waterfall and it attracts people to the spa and more people want to jump in because if it.

Have you encountered any problems, and if so, how were they resolved?
I didn't quite understand how the built-in aromatherapy worked, so I just called their 24/7 customer service phone number and they explained it to me on the phone. (I was actually impressed they answered because I called on a Friday night after 10).
