The factory wishes to respond to a comment in a review:
"Arctic Spas factory has changed jets from 'waterway' to getting them made in China. Obviously a poor business decision as we are the ones suffering with that choice."
The Waterway jets were in fact the first to pop out (an issue experienced by the many manufacturers). We switched to Pentair jets, but had the same problem. We turned to a Chinese supplier in an attempt to find a plastic forumlation that would alleviate the problem, with limited success.
Ultimately we modified the attachment system for 2007, with a complete redesign for 2008. The new design is backwards compatible with previous jet housings and Arctic owners who experience jet pop-outs may ask their dealers for the new "fixed tab" or "threaded" designs. Availability may be limited and there may be a wait for parts during the summer of 2008 so we ask your patience as supply catches up to demand.
The new retention rings are easy for the user to install using only two screws, but some owners may want to have this done by a technician. Please be aware that under the terms of the factory warranty, the new jets are covered while labour to install them is not, so there might be a travel and/or service fee for dealer installation.
