2005 Sundance Bahia
In Response To: Sundance Spas ()

For us, a perfect tub. We weren't looking for a "fancy" tub but rather, as my wife said, we wanted a "social tub". One where if we had the neighbors over we'd all be comfortable and facing each other and this design, without the lounger, is it. We purchased the 2005 Bahia as a wet floor model in April 2006 with the stereo at a significant discount.

Features: We love the foot jets and the 4 corners offer ample variations in therapy and depth. The tub is large enough to keep me covered in hot water (6' 195lb). The filter does a fine job and using the Nature 2 system requires very little effort to keep the water in good condition. The circulation pump with ozonator works very well.

Reliablity: So far, we've had 2 calls into the local service dept. One because a speaker quit (one of 2 the tub has...obviously we bought the one with the stereo) and one due to a shorted out circulation pump. Both were under warranty and were replaced within a week at no cost. Not bad for a year of constant use....4 times/week for at least an hour each time and our February this year was an average of 17*!

Overall, my wife says shes ADDICTED! We both enjoy hot tubbing more than we thought we would. The cost to run is higher than stated by the dealer given same electric costs fyi. The Bahia was a perfect choice for us (family of 3) but may get a bit small if you have a larger family that uses it together. We use it year round. Enjoy.
