We have owned our Piper for 8 months. We tested many different types before we came to this BIG decision. I think what sold us the most was the fact that nobody was stealing massaging power from anyone else. With the Piper there is a pump and an air control for each seat. All of the other spas we tested someone was always feeling cheated. The other issue is that the seating accomodates everyone from myself at over 6 feet to our littlest who is about 4 1/2feet. The only option that we have on our tub is the upgraded lights and while they are nice, a lot of times we just lounge in the tub with no lights and even no massage. There is nothing that we are sorry we left out. We had thought about the stereo for a while until I realized that with the jets running and people talking it is very difficult to hear the music. For someone that feels they need music just buy some outdoor speakers, today you can even find wireless speakers. Mount the speakers up high and away you go for a lot less money. The typical price quoted for a stereo was around 1,000 from any of the manufacturers we tested.

Artesian and my dealer (Richard Bros in RI) have been the greatest and very understanding. When we purchased the SPA we were told that we would be getting a 2005 model as Artesian was not going to make a model year change until late January. To my surprise when the unit arrived it was a 2006 controller. No big deal except that there was no manual when the unit was delivered and it was about 2 weeks before I got one. During that time I was in touch with Artestian as I knew as much about the new controller as the dealer. I was very impressed with the customer support from Artesian. They were not afraid to say we have to call you back on that or lets try this. This is my first Spa so I was just trying to understand the controls and what they control and what the various signals mean. After reading some of the horror stories on this sight I can honestly say we made the right choice.

This sight is very helpful so if you are thinking of purchasing a SPA look very closely at the wealth of information and don't be afraid to post a question, you will be very surprised at the fast responses.
