Boca Grande 2005

We shopped around quite a bit, since this is after all a good sized chunk of change.

We chose the Gulf Coast Boca because, to be honest, I didn't see enough of a difference in the different manufacturers spas to justify paying literally twice the price in many cases.

When it was delivered and unwrapped, we immediately noticed that one corner of the wooden case had been slightly dented (most likely by a tow motor) and this had caused a small (under two inch) crack in the outside lip of the shell. We filled it, used it, enjoyed it (worked perfectly) but we were concerned about the crack. Not that it would ever be a problem (it was after all on the outside), and no one else ever noticed it, but we wanted it made right.

We called Gulf Coast, sent a couple pictures, at their request, and they shipped us a new spa, at no cost. They even arranged for the local delivery guys to install it and pick up the first one.

This spa works great too, not a single problem. We are more than pleased with the product and - obviously - the service. I don't see how anyone else could have done more, at any price.

Below are a few things to keep in mind, and some possible ideas for your review.
