In Response To: Hot Springs Spas (-)

When I bought the spa I thought it would be for "..a lifetime of enjoyment" or something like that as in their advertisements. Now, I wish I had never spent the money. For three years it worked fine and then problems started. First a leak and the company wouldn't honor the warantee because they claimed carpenter ants caused the leak. This was never proven and while the local spa dealer had the spa, they put in a different heater which I was never able to get any details about. When they returned the spa, it leaked from the diverter and the circulation pump wouldn't work. they have put three different circ pumps in and now the latest one has failed causing another expensive service call. Just for fun I checked Ebay to see spas for sale and the only one is also a prodigy and guess what? the circulation pump doesn't work. A lifetime of enjoyment? It's been nothing but headaches for me and I'm tired or being a chemical engineer trying to keep the water within their guidelines what with all the fifteen bucks a bottle of powder. I bought it hoping to get relaxation. That's not what I got but rather a bad case of nerves. I'm sure many out their love their Hot Springs Spas but I guess I got a lemon. I'm selling it (if I can) as soon as it's repaired. I hope this helps someone out there.
