In Response To: Elite Spas by MAAX (-)

We just purchased a platinum Elite Spa from a Costco store in California. It's 87 X87 X 37, 325 gallons with 50 water jets and 10 air jets, total of 60 jet. Also includes ozonater, 2 filters, 240V/48amp 60 amp GFCI, cover with lift, lighting effects, pillows, am/fm CD w/pop up speakers, aromatherapy, waterfall. We paid $3499.00 which seems like a great price after doing a little research. It seems like it has all the works, but was missing one important part, the owners Manual.

Costco has been trying to get a hold of maker to obtain a manual for over a week now, with no such luck. I have been searching the web myself and am a little confused on who the maker is. Costco rep gave me the phone # so I may try myself to get someone to answer the phone instead of leaving numoures messages, but still no answer. Searching on the web, It seems that Hydro spa and elite spa are somehow connected to each other. Any info you may have on this tub or on either company would be appreciated. We are tempted to return spa back to costco as they do stand behind their product, but it is a hard Item to get from them as they only receive one or two at a time and their sold within a day and you cannot receive or order them in advance. Besides we rented a trailer to pick it up ourselves. We are waiting to get electrical hooked up as soon as we are able to obtain a Manual. We are new owners and have never owned one before and costco has assured us that Elite Spas is a reputable company.
