Lifesprings 8000 / 2001

In Response To: LifeSprings Spas (-)

I bought a Lifesprings Spas 8000 in July of 2001. I love it! I'm writing this on 8/24/04 and have yet to have a problem with it.

It's 91'x 91'x 37" and holds 490 gallons, it's fairly large. The company gave me a lot of good information before I bought it. It's really good quality with a lot of great features. The thing I like the best is the raised plastic bottom they use, that seems to keep all the critters out and raises the whole spa off the ground so the rain water can't get inside from the bottom.

I even shopped a little after I bought it and confirmed I got a smokin' deal, I probably saved about 3,000 over what I would have paid at Sundance or Hot Springs, so I'm really happy.

I didn't buy their stairs, I went with some plastic ones I found on-line, got them a bit cheaper on line.

The warranty is good. Nothing bad about using the spa in the sun (like most I read) or acid products. It's 15 years on the structure, 5 surface, 2 plumbing & 2 parts. They offer a very inexpensive extended warranty but I felt I wasn't going to need it. That would have extended it out to 15,7,5,5.

I'd rank my Lifesprings Spa a 10 out of 10 compaired to what I saw at my local fair and the three major stores I went into, Sundance, Hotsprings & Marquis.

Good luck!
