Fantasy 2007

I realize why these tubs are such energy hogs - they have a serious design flaw that the company is aware of but refuses to do anything about. Trying to be "cute," the Fantasy has 5 major "dips" in rim of the tub. The result is that the cover does not fit flush to the top of the tub. Thus the heat escapes and the tub runs nearly continuously! And it is not that cold here in Louisville, KY. The company refuses to provide any solution claiming they don't have any complaints about this tub. I think I might try gluing insulation in the 5 low spots to slow the heat lose. I realize this is an "ugly" solution but I use the tub after dark and as many others (one on this site and several on other sites) have complained - these tubs use a lot of electricity.
