SwimSpa 2005

RUN don't walk! For years I had followed the ThermoSpa brand of spas & found nothing but wonderful reviews. Things in life went in directions not bringing my purchase to fruition. Then in March 0f 2005 I read an advertisement from Thermo Spas that they were having their First Annual Factory Sale........I thought what better time than now, so being that I reside in Connecticut & the factory is located in Connecticut; approximately 30 minutes from my house, I decided to attend. My intention was to possibly purchase a regular spa, yet my daughter would have preferred a pool! Into the show room we went & there was the "ThermoSpas Swim Spa", well this was the answer to my prayers, so I thought!!! It was actually the beginning of a year long + battle to have a product that was PROFESSED to have been manufactured by THERMOSPAS right here in Connecticut, yet clearly was a TOTAL MISREPRESENTATION DIRECTLY FROM AND BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE COMPANY removed from my house. The product was far from what was professed to have been manufactured DIRECTLY BY THERMOSPAS as their web site states, in fact it came from another state & was pieced together. Other reviews, as well as my own first hand experience, conclude that what you see and what you get ~ are two totally different things. DO NOT BELIEVE EVERYTHING or ANYTHING for that matter! It's unfortunate that a company that HAD such a wonderful repuation years ago, has lost such with its new owner. Consumer Protection Bureau, Better Business Bureau & finally to the Attorney General was what it took to get this resolved. Run don't walk.
