We bought this spa in Jan. 2007 - so technically it was the prior year's model. I think we got a pretty good deal as far as the price goes. We decided to buy a hot tub after enjoying an inlaw's on their deck. We thought it would be a wonderful way to connect as a couple as well as enjoy it with the family - and of course for relaxation, hydrotherapy ect. Our spa does live up to it's expectations. So far we've had no mechnical issues. A couple of the jets do blow off & one will need to be replaced. We've had the spa hooked up & usable for 8 mos. Our spa came with the better quality cover, cover lifter, water falls, multi color lights & we also got the double wide step. Definatly go with the cover lifter & the double wide step. There are no features on our spa or accessories we have with our spa that we would change. We enjoy all of them. The best thing I like about the spa is the relaxation. We chose not to have music or tv w/ our spa because that would take away from the solitude & relaxation in our opinion. If you want the noise of those sorts of things stay in the house. The only thing I don't like about our spa is the lounge feature is better suited for a shorter person. I'm 5'10" & my husband is 6'1". You have to slouch down in the lounger for your neck & shoulders to be hit by the jets. Doing so displaces your whole body. Although, I'm not sure there are spas out there for "taller" people. It's a minor inconvenience that I'm not really upset about - just wish it could be a little better is all. If I had to do it all over again - I think we'd do about the same. The dealer could have been more attentive & nicer. We ordered the double wide steps & had to call repeatedly to get them. We paid for them & then they wouldn't even deliver them. If they weren't the closest I would not buy my chemicals from them - but since they are I'm kinda stuck. Also - the woman who assisted us when buying the spa set up a box of chemicals to be delivered w/ the tub that was completely wrong. Oh, and when they delivered it they literally "dropped" it off the trailer into our garage. We've been worried since about the frame & mechanical issues but none have arrisen yet. They're not really nice. Kinda surprising when you spend $8000 at one time. You'd think they'd be nicer. I guess if I changed anything it would be the dealer we bought the spa from. I would NOT recommend All in all it's been a great experience. I think buying a hot tub is like buying a car. There are a lot of models & brands out there. Do a lot of compairing & chose one that fits your lifestyle & needs =- and most of all budget.
