Why did you decide to get a spa? Getting on in years and hydro therapy soothes the aches. Does your spa live up to all expectations? The spa is very therapudic, multiple seating positions target various body parts. How long have you owned your spa? 3 Months What accessories/options, beyond the "basic spa" does, your spa have? Heavier cover, for the local climate and a gas strut assisted cover lift. What do you like best? The size, 5-6 adults fit comfortably, the spinning jets. Is there anything about your spa you don't like? Jacuzzi's non-defeatable programming that turns the jets off after 20 minutes.
What might you change if you had to "do it all over"? I would probably buy a model without a lounger and definitely one with more foot jets. Is there anything you're sorry you left out? No Are there any features you now feel aren't necessary? No Have you encountered any problems, and if so, how were they resolved? Yes, sadly.
So far no luck with multiple cycles, the pumps will not run as if they are too hot and the motor thermistors are keeping them from starting. All electrical trouobleshooting shows the pumps are running "Normal" amperage. Unfortuneately, each of the service calls, 5 so far in 3 months of ownership have provided no relief for the original problem and it's been very frustrating. The spa functions well for the first cycle and after that it's a crap shoot as to whether or not it will function. This has been my only experience with Jacuzzi and so far it has not met my expectations. I'd hoped that by buying a spa from a reputable company that the quality would not be an issue. That has not been the case. On the other hand the warranty service has been courteous, now if they could get the right combination to fix the cycle issue, I'd be happy.
