I just replaced my pump last night, noticed this morning that the pump was "humming", the light was on, but shaft wasn't turning. Water replaced last night also, so it probably was on for quite some time warming up the water. Would this be because the "high limit" switch killed the pump due to it heating up? I did notice the pump was rather hot to the touch. I also tried to kick on the high speed, the light came on, but it just kept on humming, not turning. Any ideas would be appreciated.
