Hi Monica,

I'll go against the traffic, here. We have our tub in a screened-in gazebo right now, and are building a screened porch right at the back door, which, for winter, will be closed-in with plexiglass for a little protection.

I don't know about you, but our winters in Northern Wisconsin can be a little like Siberia. I'm going to need a little bit of house warmth to get me out that back door from December through March. Then, in the summer, we have Black Flies that bite, draw lots of blood, and leave an itchy welt for weeks. Not to mention the mosquitoes and deer flies--oh, and I'd also just as soon have privacy from the neighbors. I'm not into "dressing for company"!

I still get to experience the outdoors from behind my screen. I have flower baskets and various bird feeders hanging just outside, and the humming birds come right up to within inches of my face--they even seem to like the steam when it's cold outside. This winter, I will still be plenty cold and able to watch the snow fall, right next to me. I'm just not tough enough for the extremes--you should think about whether you are.
