Ok, I've done a lot of reading, but no doing. I would like advice on what to do when I setup as far as chems, heres the information :
HS Vanguard Spa (400gal)
Ozonator (CD)
Silver Ion cartridge inside the filter
Now the water that will be filling the tank is "soft" i know this is a nono so i'll have to raise it quite a bit (considering its at 0 right now thanks to my hard working potassium softner). Although I am sort of surprised that "soft" water would cause more corrosion then water with disolved metals ? Can anyone explain this one ?
I am also wondering about sanitizer. For starters my skin HATES chlorine. And of course the HS manual says to ONLY use chlorine as they "say" that bromine will kill off the ozone. Ideally i would like to avoid both of these, with the ozone and silver ions, what else do i need to do to be protected (Average spa load will just be 2 people 5 times a week).
