i believe if you read everything that is going on message boards about Cats, you should have a pretty good picture of the overall quality...would I buy it again or another one? probably not...when you pay top dollar for something, you do expect to get top dollar quality...but most of us on the board don't have bad things to say about the spa...just that things don't do what they are supposed to..and it cost us money to buy them ... I was in a spa store yesterday looking to purchase a thermal blanket that was better than the bubble one my dealer threw in to the package...and interesting, because this store cancelled selling Cats two years ago because they felt Cats became overpriced as to value and went with Dynasty which they feel to be a much better built spa...and the fellow who used to be the Northern Illinois Catalina rep now is one of their managers and he and I spoke for about an hour just about the issues you are inquiring about....if you live in northern Illinois, you ought to ask me for the store's name, and you can call this fellow or go into see him...he told me some very interesting stuff...I am still not sorry I plunked down my big bucks for this brand as he confirmed my good experience with my dealer as he said my dealer was one of the top people for service in the whole industry and I got lucky buying from them...so my feeling is that if I didn't buy the best spa, at least I bought the best fellow who will stand behind it!!!
