That was your experience with Costco last year and is not necessarily what is transpiring now. I have a couple of customers with these cheap Costco tubs that are getting the run around from Costco. Costco (and other big box merchants) are facing a huge exposure due to many of the cheap tub manufacturers going bankrupt and closing. I am sure that Costco, like any other business, will protect their interests first.
Don't get me wrong. Costco is a great place for purchasing commodity items. It's a poor place for buying specialty items however. Anyone purchasing a tub at such a place is getting precisely what they paid for.
