I have a Cal Spa also, bought a year and a half ago. Pump started making a terrible sound today. called the dealer here in san antonio where I purchased from and first thing they said is water problems are going to be an issue, and there are probably calcium deposits and that the pump seal was leaking into the bearings because of this ( pre excuses I guess) quoted about $699 for the pump if Cal Spa determines it is not covered under warranty. As a plus though, I have had jets fall out from day one and they replaced them, and he is bring some out when he comes for the service call on the pump next week. Anyone else have any stories on Cal Spa pumps failing?
