I have a 2007 Artesian Captiva. Pump #1 finally died. It was getting louder and louder, then one day I came out and the breaker had thrown. I reset the breaker and fired up Pump #1 and it wouldn't budge, so I immediately turned the breaker off.
Fast forward to today, new pump is installed, half a tub of water to check for leaks and to make sure the pump wasn't running backwards or anything. Turn the breaker on and it immediately trips. Immediately. I unplugged the cable to Pump #1 and tried the breaker again. Same thing.
I'm 99% sure I have the plug wired to the back of the motor correctly, nothing else has changed. When I hit the breaker, I hear a "click" in the Balboa, but the breaker trips immediately.
Thoughts on how to trouble shoot this?
