I pulled the board out, but I have no idea what a "potentiometer" looks like. There is a bolt and nut that goes through the case (i.e., you can tighten from the outside) and holds two pieces of metal on the inside of the case. Why is that there?

: board. If you do not have pots, you cannot make adjustments.
