Heck, this one is only 2 and a half years old...another year or two would be well worth it ...the best price for the combination I have seen so far is about $239...there are some who advertise a slightly different motor from A O Smith...but I think I should stick with the fella what brung me, doncha think??? A O Smith also makes one that sounds identical except it is 4.5 hp rather than the 4 mine is...

John, what's your idea on the CLR for putting into the spa and letting it circulate into the pipes? I could drain and refill a few times but my concern is that it might hurt something it touches other than the pipes...

How does a chemical like that compare to the Metal Out I have used this time to eliminate the rust...? which is a silly question, I guess, since that bottom pipe is bright orange...but the rest of vertical pipes seem clean...
