Some provide their warranty, or a link to manuals that have them in the back. Use that for comparison to your 2yr/6mo labor. The good ones are usually much longer, and more comprehensive. How will your eBay seller service the tub if a warranty arises? If they claim to have local service agents, get their number and call to make sure they are willing to perform warranty service on that tub.

If money is an issue, some dealers carry "value" lines in addition to their top of the line tubs. Take a look at them or consider a used tub.
