: It simply means that the water is much colder than the set temperature.

What if none of the controls work (up and down temp, jets, blower) when the ice message appears and the water is pretty warm...also the jets were on high when I noticed it and no one turned them on?
As a result, I turned the spa off, turned it on about an hour later, went to set the temp (it was defaulted to 75) and as I was setting it, the ice message came back on and the jets started. The water temp was reading 93 at the time and I had not reached 93 when I was resetting the temp. Any ideas?
