If at all possible it should be moved while still assembled. After the plumbing is disconnected it can be tipped on it's side and rolled away. Even into the back of a pick-up truck. Disassembling it can also be done, but is a lot more time consuming. The tub will need to be left empty for 2 to 4 weeks till the wood starts to shrink. This will make taking it apart without damaging it easier. After it's then disassembled the wood will need to be properly stacked and allowed to dry for at least another month. When the tub is finally reassembled the wood should swell back up and continue on, leak free, for many more years to come.
