Replacement Light Bulb

I recently purchased a Tiger River Sumatran by Hot Springs... It has a 4 position blue light in it currently... I am thinking of replacing it with some type of multicolor light (assume led) and am curious what my options are... I see the option for a Luminescence Multi Color LED light system from hot springs... But that thing is fairly expensive for a light system.. I also have seen some led bulb replacements on ebay that supposedly work in a similar way... Anyone have any ideas of how this system works...what voltage bulb is etc... or any cheaper alternatives for a multi-color lighting system?? Any help would be appreciated...
