OK. I have to admit that I am a little confused by your description. You state that you have an IQ2000 controller, but that it has a daughter board with the heater relays on it. This cannot be. The older IQ2000 controller has separate heater relays in the upper left corner of the box. The newer IQ2020 controller does have a second, auxiliary board with the heater relays attached. It is called the heater relay board and it is available as a separate part.
There can be many reasons why your tub is not heating. First, you need to accurately determine which controller you have.
: Sheesh....i noticed my hot tub (tiger river siberian) wasn't very
: hot...97f, so i went to check the breaker (1 gcfi for heater and 1
: gcfi for pumps) and the heater one had tripped. I reset it. Next
: morning still no heat. I pulled the control board cover and the on
: lights were on, i disconnected the heater plug to see, then
: reconnected it back. After about 5 minutes the heater relay on the
: daugter board of the iq2000 sparked up and burnt out. Unfortunately
: it looks like watkins doesn't sell daughter board and the relay is
: soldered on to you have to replace the entire control board.
: Any clue what happened???
: thanks! - shawn
