tripping the breaker

We were given an older Sundance a few months ago. It's a 2000 Sundance by Jacuzzi that was bought at Costco. It's been great, but yesterday when the kids were in it, it stopped working. It trips the breaker and when we flip it, it will cycle through things until it starts the pump, then it trips again. The kids might have put fingers in the jets, but I don't know if that could have done it. Any ideas? We changed the fuse and it didn't help.
