My first post... this site has been such a a great resource. Thanks! On to my Q:
My 220 softub is old.... 15 years? I bought it used. I have no complaints about it or its operation.... On my shell... near the top just before the outside material meets the inside the tub seams or starting to separate or tear some are 2 inches along the seam. It doesn't seem to bother anything, but it doesn't seem like I should let it get worse either. I worry that in the winter water will get in there and freeze.
when looking inline there seems to be 2 types of repair kits... one is a vinyl "patch" that is for the inside, the other is a system with multi colors and a heat gun/iron for small cracks in the exterior....
I have no idea which might work best since the seams are separating...
Thoughts? Thanks in advance!
